Spotlight Society - Music Theatre Wichita's Patron Program for Annual Donors
The Spotlight Society is a group of individual donors whose annual committment to Music Theatre Wichita is $2,500 or more.
Program Benefits Include:
- Recognition of gift in Summer Playbill
- Invitation to the Founders’ Room for complimentary wine and snacks at intermission of Summer Season Performances
- Invitation to MTWichita’s Annual Meeting
- Access to backstage tours (by request)
- Special Events including:
- Inside the MTWichita Actor’s Studio – an annual summer event exclusively for members of the Spotlight Society and/or Wallace Legacy Society. Hear from some of the season’s leading performers. Hear stories and songs, plus time for questions and answers, in a casual setting with dinner and drinks provided.
- Insider Events – Two events per year, one pre-season and one post-season, exclusively for members of the Spotlight Society. Light bites and drinks provided, with time for socializing. Topics and special guests vary, with recent events having included:
- Robu + Robu: Stories and songs from MTWichita’s favorite performing couple
- Tales From the Pit: Hear from some of MTWichita’s most seasoned orchestral musicians
- Frozen Sneak Peek with Michael Downs: Take a first look at the brand new sets for Disney’s Frozen, designed exclusively for Music Theatre Wichita and hear from lifelong Wichitan and internationally sought after scenic designer Michael Downs
- Priority ticket purchase access to special events including StarNight, Night Among the Stars, and more
- Priority access for MTWichitravels trips (including annual NYC trip)

Membership is determined by cumulative annual giving, including gifts made through fundraising events like Night Among the Stars. Endowment gifts or gifts towards other special projects are not counted towards Spotlight Society membership, nor are non-tax deductible purchases like auction items or trip payments.
