MTWichita and Century II Terms and Conditions
Tickets, Refunds, Returns, and Exchanges
- Performance tickets are issued as a revocable license, which may be revoked at any time, and admission may/can be denied. Tickets and Gift Vouchers are non-refundable, starting when purchased, and any associated postage, handling, or telephone charges are also non-refundable.
- A $3 exchange fee applies to single tickets, while season subscribers can exchange their tickets at no charge. All exchanges must be for the same show and cannot be transferred to different shows.
- Ticket prices are subject to change, and Music Theatre Wichita reserves the right to adjust them at its discretion.
- The management company (ASM Global) of Century II has the right to assess facility fees on top of ticket prices. These prices will be determined between said management company and Music Theatre Wichita and is subject to change. The facility fees go straight to the management company of Century II and do not stay with Music Theatre Wichita.
- If a ticket is eligible for a refund due to event cancellation, staff and management will determine the refund policy and establish the deadlines for requesting a refund.
- Ticket stubs must be presented for re-entry into the facility.
- MTWichita offers ticket discounts for groups purchasing 10 or more single tickets at once. For our group sales, if one party member decides to pay, they are responsible for payment in full and payments are due one week prior to the selected performance. Discounts are also available for Wichita-area college students through our Student Rush program.
- If unused season subscription ticket(s) are returned before the performance time indicated on your tickets, MTWichita can issue a tax-deductible contribution receipt for the amount you paid, upon request. This receipt is deductible according to IRS regulations and your individual tax status. Please note that refunds will not be provided for tickets you are unable to use and single tickets are not eligible.
- Ticket refund protection is offered through Secure My Booking and can be added to your cart while you are purchasing tickets. Ticket refund protection cannot be added to an order, after purchase is completed.
- Refunds are not permitted if an understudy performs in place of the original cast during the purchased performance.
- MTWichita cannot guarantee the validity of tickets purchased through unauthorized third-party websites. To avoid the risk of fraudulent tickets, we recommend purchasing directly from mtwichita.org.
- Music Theatre Wichita or any permitted third parties may carry out general filming and sound recording in or about the venue. By purchasing tickets you consent to you and your party being included in and to the exploitation of such films and recordings without payment.
- No exceptions will be made to these policies and if any part of these terms and conditions are not enforceable then this will not affect the enforceability of any other part.
Age Requirements
- To ensure an enjoyable experience for all patrons and performers, babies and toddlers (ages 4 and under) are not permitted at any Music Theatre Wichita productions in Concert Hall (or any additional venue, determined by management) due to the length of the performances and the nature of certain content.
- All ages are welcome at MTWichita Academy events. For MTWichita Academy performances, every patron ages 5 and older must have their own ticket. Children under 5 do not require a ticket but must sit in the same assigned seat as an accompanying ticketed adult.
- No exceptions will be made to these policies and if any part of these terms and conditions are not enforceable then this will not affect the enforceability of any other part.
Facility and Performance Areas
- Music Theatre Wichita and the facility staff reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any individual who violates facility rules, local, state, or federal laws, or whose behavior is deemed illegal or disruptive by management.
- Century II is a smoke-free facility. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the building.
- Century II does not permit outside food and drink into the facility.
- Ticket stubs must be presented for re-entry into the facility.
- To respect the performers and fellow audience members, please refrain from using cameras, tape recorders, mobile phones, smart watches, electronic devices, and pagers during the performance. Failure to comply may result in removal from the Concert Hall without a refund.
- Curtain times are prompt. To be considerate of both the audience and performers, late arrivals will be seated by a volunteer usher at designated times as determined by theatre management.
- No exceptions will be made to these policies and if any part of these terms and conditions are not enforceable then this will not affect the enforceability of any other part.
Security, Liability, and Data Protection
- Music Theatre Wichita is strongly committed to protecting the privacy of its online patrons. We do not collect personally identifiable information about individuals, except when it is knowingly provided by such individuals. The privacy policy only applies to transactions made, and data gathered, on the mtwichita.org web site.
- To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate, physical, electronic, and administrative procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.
- Music Theatre Wichita may engage third-party vendors in order to help us manage our website and allow us to better serve our patrons. Music Theatre Wichita requires its vendors to maintain the confidentiality and security of patron information to which they are provided access. Music Theatre Wichita’s website may contain links to other websites and once you leave Music Theatre Wichita’s website, this privacy policy will not apply.
- The Board of Directors, Staff of Music Theatre Wichita, along with building management, its agents, and participants, assume no liability for any injury sustained by a ticket holder while attending an MTWichita event.
Changes to Terms and Conditions
Music Theatre Wichita may revise its terms and conditions at any time. We encourage our patrons and guests to visit this page periodically to review.
