General Audition Information
Music Theatre Wichita and Music Theatre for Young People are excited to announce auditions for 2022! Below you will find all the information and details for the upcoming opportunities. Auditions will take place in the Rehearsal Hall inside Century II. Enter through the brown door on the southeast side of the building outside the Concert Hall Box Office entrance. Please email education@MTWichita.org with any questions.
If teens and children have a headshot and resume, please bring it. This is not a requirement to audition. MTWichita staff will take a polaroid picture of those auditioning to attach to the audition form.
Everyone coming into the building is required to wear a mask. When it is your time to sing you will be able to remove your mask for your vocal audition.
Safety Protocols
- All children should wear a mask to auditions.
- Contact education@mtwichita.org to make alternate plans if your child develops symptoms on these days.
- We strongly recommend children and teens be vaccinated to participate in Frozen Jr.
- For future planning, please know that teens and participants in summer mainstage productions must be vaccinated by the start of rehearsals (TBD, expected early June 2022) to participate.
- For Frozen Jr., participants will be tested by PCR saliva test weekly. If your child has had a confirmed positive case of COVID-19 after October 1, 2021, they may be exempt from testing.
