Music Theatre Wichita is seeking a Development Manager to join a dynamic, forward-looking team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and copywriting skills, an interest in collaboration, and a keen eye for detail and organization.  

The Development Manager leads strategy and implementation for all annual fundraising campaigns, working closely with the Managing Director, Artistic Director, Board of Directors, and staff. Responsibilities include planning, soliciting, and stewarding annual donations of all sizes; engaging deeply with MTWichita to understand and create giving opportunities appropriate to the full scope of the organization; and developing professional relationships with sponsors, grantmakers, in-kind donors, and other constituencies that support MTWichita.  

The successful candidate will engage in all aspects of fundraising, and will have particularly strong interest and skills in one or more of the following: grant writing, corporate solicitation, annual fund, etc. In addition, the Development Manager should have great enthusiasm for the musical theatre and desire to join a high-performing organization that grew its team and offerings during the COVID-19 pandemic.
