The enchanting modern classic from Disney is ready for our MTYP Broadway Junior stars! Frozen JR. is based on the 2018 Broadway musical and brings Elsa, Anna, and the magical land of Arendelle to life on stage. The show features all the memorable songs from the animated film, with music and lyrics by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, plus five new songs written for the Broadway production. A story of true love and acceptance between sisters, Frozen Jr. expands upon the emotional relationship and journey between Princesses Anna and Elsa. When faced with danger, the two discover their hidden potential and the powerful bond of sisterhood. With a cast of beloved characters and loaded with magic, adventure, and plenty of humor, Frozen Jr. is sure to thaw even the coldest heart!

An alumna of Broadway’s Beauty and the Beast, Jennifer K. Marcum joins MTW/MTYP as co-music director. Jennifer has also appeared in MTWichita's Red, White, and Broadway: A Star-Studded Tribute to America! and Music Theatre Wichita Presents a Holiday Special.

Injoy Fountain appeared in the tour of Rent in Scotland and Aruba, and has toured with Postmodern Jukebox. She is best known for her appearance on season 17 of The Voice on NBC. Injoy has worked with MTWichita on several projects and events including Music Theatre Wichita Presents a Holiday Special.

  • All children should wear a mask to auditions and all rehearsals
  • Contact to make alternate plans if your child develops symptoms on these days
  • For future planning, please know that all youth and participants in summer mainstage productions must be vaccinated by the start of rehearsals (TBD, expected early June 2022) to participate
